Minors in a Foreign Language
The Department of Foreign Languages offers two kinds of minors: Language Minor and Language and Culture Minor. Requirements for both degrees are five courses beyond Beginning I of the language. For those students, Beginning I is applicable to Arts of Expression.
The completion of a minor in a foreign language may take approximately two years or more, so careful planning in advance is necessary. Students that are interested in signing up for a minor in foreign language must consult with the Minor Advisor of the language beforehand, as early as possible.
