Teaching and Research Interests: I've lived and studied in Poland, France, Belgium, and the United States. Currently, I am a French teacher at a public high school and an adjunct instructor at RIT. My love of languages began with my study of linguistics at the University of Paris III. I've taught beginner through advanced French, as well as classes on French history and culture at several colleges in the U.S. I am interested in recent changes in French identity, especially insofar as these changes are bound up with post-colonial immigration from the Maghreb and with May 1968 as a contested political symbol.
