Concentrations in a Foreign Language
The Department of Foreign Languages offers Language and Culture Concentration in ASL, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish. Required courses are two sequential courses beyond Beginning I of the language and one culture course. For those students, Beginning I will be applicable to Arts of Expression.
The completion of a concentration in a foreign language takes approximately one year or more, so careful planning in advance is necessary. Students that are interested in signing up for a concentration in foreign language are advised to consult with the Concentration/Minor Advisor of the language beforehand, as early as possible.
