Teaching and Research Interests: Shifang Yu came to the U.S. in 1980. Since 1988 she has been teaching Chinese in the Rochester area. She taught at St. John Fisher College, Nazaeth College, and is now a senior lecturer at the University of Rochester, as well as an instructor at RIT.   In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, singing, reading, and swimming. Her hobbies are flower arrangements and gardening.
